Here’s how to make the best grilled green beans! Each bite is tender with a burst of salty, spicy and sweet flavour

I personally love them with oven baked fresh salmon

Ingredients
1 kg green beans, ends trimmed
7 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
5 tbsp.
soy sauce
2 tbsp garlic paste or grated fresh garlic
3-4 tbsp honey
2 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Thinly sliced green onions, for garnish (optional)
Roasted crashed almonds without the skin

Directions
Preheat a your oven grill over medium-high heat.
In a large bowl, whisk together oil, soy sauce, chili garlic paste, honey, and red pepper flakes, then add green beans (and toss to coat)
Season with salt
Place green beans on an oven tray (covered with wet cooking paper.
Cook until charred all over, turning 2-3 times, total grilling time around 35 minutes
Garnish with sesame seeds and almonds
Notes1. These look really impressive and are perfect to make right next to your steak, chicken or salmon.
2. You can grill just about any vegetable this way
3. The above quantities can be served as a side dish for 4-6 persons
4. For fresh garden beans, this will mean trimming the edges by either snapping them off with your hands or aligning the beans on a cutting board and chopping off the ends.
